So, I saw Superman Returns the other night with my brother and a few of his friends. It took me, like, a half-hour afterwards to come to the conclusion that I didn't like it, even though I didn't really hate it. "Decidedly average" was what I eventually settled upon. So, my grandmother was nice enough to bring me a copy of the Qur'an from Vancouver yesterday. I had mentioned to her a few weeks ago that my knowledge of Islam was limited to what I had picked up on my own or the brief sections dedicated to it in various history classes I've taken. I have a splinter in my foot. Not just any kind of splinter, though. A grass one. I have a dried grass mat in my kitchen, and I guess a part of it had splintered without my noticing, and I got a piece of it lodged in the area between my big and pointer toes. I was not aware that grass in any shape or form could break skin, but I sure do now.

I came down with the stomach flu this morning, which has made my life a living hell for the past twelve hours or so. All I've done is try to sleep off the nausea, and fortunately it seems to've passed (for the most part). I think God never wants me to enjoy my spring breaks.
