I voted! The fever went down* (and is still down, 5 hours after I took 600 mg of ibuprofen!) of course right before I got to the doctor's office. Its like when you get your car to the mechanic and it stops making the noise. But the doctor checked for mastitis (nope) and did tests for strep and flu, and everything was negative. Probably not going to make it to vote. There are long lines out the door and I can't wait in some line for over an hour. Instead I'm taking my sweaty 103.5 feverish self to the doctor. Holy fuckin' shit I'm sick! Its the flu :( I got a flu shot on Wednesday, but apparently that wasn't soon enough. You know, I think when the chicken slaughter houses finish up with slaughtering all the chickens, cutting them up and harvesting every atom of meat from their carcasses, then they sweep up and go home, the canned soup makers steal the bags of trash from their dumpsters, and that's where they get their chicken.
