You knew it was coming - another St. Anne's post!

Nov 05, 2008 00:33

I was so damn sick last night I just crashed without brushing my teeth or pumping. So this morning I woke up even sicker, with a toothache and bowling balls in my bra. Can I ever win?

I ran out for tortillas tonight (fever gives me cravings) and on the radio there was a Def Leppard song. It reminded me of Sarles. Sarles... And that, in turn, reminded me of St. Anne's. But then, what can I say that a fading old 126 can't say better?

Welcome to the Big Building! This is the back. 1988 probably.

The building you see a snippet of in the lower left is the Refectory. They had remodeled it into apartments. Hey, I don't like it any more than you do!

Here it is with part of the small building on the right.

The winter of '87-'88, this was the way in.

The front door, 1987.

Um. How many of this picture do I have?

This and the front door one are Polaroids. 20-year-old Polaroids do not look good any more. If it occurs to you that you have some old Polaroids hanging out in a box or an old album or something, get those fuckers scanned yesterday!

One day there was a dude going in and out of the front door.

There he is! The dude!

Then one day they did this. Assholes. Ripped the elevator shaft right off! One time Bage threw a toilet down the elevator shaft. The only way you can describe a sound like that is "like a toilet being thrown down an elevator shaft." Bage was always doing stuff to piss me off.

Here it is from behind a mountain.

Big Building with Small Building behind it, Refectory in front.

st. anne's, sick
