After a really shitty three and a half hour delay at Manchester Airport on Friday our weekend went very well!

We're off to Cork tomorrow for the weekend, it's us, Adam and his new plus one and our friends from Henley who we haven't seen since the steamy days of Summer.

It's an hours flight from Manchester and Adam will collect us from the airport as he's driving from Dublin. We're staying in a lovely house and filling all three rooms. Supper that night ( Read more... )

We saw Borat on Friday night, it's so funny and so wrong in so many ways.....

Then we saw The Page Turner on Sunday night which was so subtle and quite and elegent. The anti Borat.

I can't believe it's Friday already...this week has gone by so fast.

Tonight there's a Whisky and Chocolate Tasting at the Royal Exchange Theatre hosted by Plaisir du Chocolat and the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. I've never been a fan of Scotch, but I think I will do the tasting tonight as it will be interesting to see if my taste buds have ( Read more... )

I have been so busy that I haven't even read my flist for almost two weeks now....it's so far gone that I can't possibly skip xxxmillion to do so, so I'll have to let it go this time! I have just booked tickets online for my birthday trip to Dublin for end June start July to stay with Adam. Mum's coming too as she hasn't been for about a million years and I felt irationally guilty about not involving her in my 35th birthday celebrations. As those of you who read my waffling frequently, I love to shop for books, frocks, makeup and food with gleeful regularity.
