Crappy Day
I have had one of the crappiest days today, I am still recovering from this illness, it has been hanging around for weeks now and it is making me feel so damn tired. Steve has been great, he has been looking after me.

Rainy Day So I Am Relaxing
Winter is really settling in and bringing with it a whole lot of rain which is nice. I love lying in bed and listening to the rain, it is so soothing.
I am still recovering from this illness, it seems to be really hanging around. I have been getting around again though, shopping, appointments, etc.

Still Sick
This flu/chest infection is still hanging around. Steve and I were supposed to go to my goddaughter's uni graduation but we can't go because I am still laid up with this.
It looks like I won't be able to go bowling with my granddaughters either as I don't want them catching this. Usually, winter doesn't hit me this hard, but this bug is stubbornly ( Read more... ) -
Slowly Recovering
Winter is here and of course, I have come down with the flu. I did test for the dreaded Covid, but it came back negative. I am on the mend but now Steve has it and he has been coughing and sneezing so much, it is setting his Dystonia off.

I Am Back
Steve and I have just come back from The Gold Coast In Queensland. We stayed at Broadbeach. The weather was beautiful. We decided not to drive there this time, we decided to fly instead.
We stayed for five days and then flew back. We both love Queensland, the beaches and mountains are spectacular. Unfortunately, I came back with a nasty flu as well ( Read more... ) -
Another Busy Week
This week was mostly made up of medical appointments for me this time and not Steve. I have to have a biopsy, it looks like I might have another skin cancer, so I am having it removed. I guess I am paying for all the time I spent in the sun as a kid.

Not A Bad Week
It has been pretty busy, Steve's mobility has gotten worse so he has now been approved for a motorised wheelchair. He has a new occupation therapist and she is great. She is right on top of all the paperwork and everything. She is an older lady and really knows what she is doing. She came out to our home to meet Steve along with his support ( Read more... ) -
Sort Of A Geeky Girl Post
I know I haven't done many Geeky Girl posts because my RL has been taken up with looking after my husband Steve. He has a neurological disease called Cervical Dystonia and a body movement disorder called Myoclonus. All this and on top of two knee replacements and aortic stenosis. My Week So Far Plus Some Sad News
It started off pretty good with some nice weather broken up with a fair bit of rain. We did have a thunderstorm about two in the morning which woke Steve and me up.
On a sadder note, my elderly neighbour passed away. He had fallen and broken his hip. He went to the hospital to get a new hip replacement but he got sepsis. It traveled to his brain ( Read more... )
