Anniversary And Halloween
The 2nd of November was a busy day. It was my eldest daughter's birthday and Steve and my wedding anniversary. We had a quiet night on Halloween due to the rain. Sadly where we are we don't get many trick-or-treaters as we are in a unit block. It is nice to see in Australia that Halloween is becoming more popular. A Quick Post
I have not been on much as I have been having some ups and downs with my health. Nothing big, just annoying little things mostly. It has been a pretty good week with a birthday for two of my granddaughters. It was a nice family get-together. It rained but we were all under shelter so it didn't affect the party.

Not Much Happening
It's been a quieter this week. Steve still had a few medical appointments but that is just life for us now. Steve is really getting on with his new support worker Nathan.
He comes out twice a week to take Steve to his appointments and shopping. Stuff like that. Nathan is a nice bloke and they seem to have a lot in common which is great. I am glad ( Read more... ) -
Chilling At Home
Finally a day at home, the last few weeks have been so busy between all the medical stuff and NDIS things we have had to do. I am also recovering from an eye infection on top of it all. Today I have decided to do nothing, just catch up on my reading and stuff like that.

Still Sick
I am so sick of this conjunctivitis, every time I think I am over it, it comes back again. I have been using both the ointment and drops, but this is one stubborn infection that refuses to go away.
On a happier note, the currawongs that we have been feeding have built a nest near our balcony, and they now they are now caring for their babies.

A Terrible Week
It has been one hell of a week. First I got a sinus infection, then caught conjunctivitis so I missed my granddaughter's choir concert, then to top things off, I slipped and fell as I was getting out of the bathtub.

General Stuff
It has been a pretty busy week. One of my grandkids had her birthday last weekend, she turned five so she had a mermaid unicorn party. It was a beautiful day so my daughter had the party outside, the wind blew up nearly knocking a little gazebo on top of me. It's Been Awhile
I have not posted in a while as I have just been so busy. It's been mostly medical stuff for Steve.
We did manage to do some shopping and picked up some great bargains now that we are heading towards spring. This winter feels like it has been going on forever.

Health Stuff
I spent the day at St George Hospital, I had to have multiple scans on my right breast. They found a small lump so I had a biopsy and a marker clip inserted. Steve was so patient, we were there for six hours while I was getting all the tests done. I am so grateful to all the staff and doctors, they are so helpful and caring. Have Not Posted In A While
Sorry I have not posted in a while, we have all been so busy. Steve's appointments and therapies are still going. We are going away for a few days up north where it will be a bit warmer.
I have been watching The Boys, I haven't read the comics but I am really enjoying the series. I am not sure if I am going to watch the spin offs though.
