just one thing? because so many things really upset me these days. i guess maybe they want to know what really pisses me off or makes me cry. i don't know. different things upset me in different ways. i mean, i've got pet peeves and then i've got stuff that makes me want to strangle people. it depends on the day and my mood.
things that fall into the pet peeve category are people who drive with their blinker on. or they drive so slowly, as if they're going someplace for the first time and have no clue where they're going. you know the kind i mean. or when we go shopping and spawn's contribution to putting the groceries away when we get home is to put like one bag away (the chips) and then he's off into his room. leaving me to put it all away myself. you know the kinds of things i'm talking about. the irky little things.
stuff that really makes me angry? stories about people who hurt their kids or their pets. i've always been a pet lover and to see some of the things that people do to animals that can't fight back... i just want to do the same to them. and then the laws are written so that they basically get a slap on the wrist! oh, so frustrating. a few years back, we had some stupid son of a bitch here who set his puppy on fire. on fire! because, they eventually found out, she wouldn't mate with another dog. the poor baby was burned so badly that she didn't survive. the last i heard, the judge who was hearing his case upped the amount of his bail. but the sad truth is, most animal cruelty cases end with the person being fined or maybe serving a couple of years. that's so fair next to what they've done to an animal that more or less looks at them as a friend and a provider.
do we need to get into people who abuse and kill their kids and what it does to me? no? didn't think so.
so yeah, that shit upsets me to no end....
