Yesterday was my first day of work at the Internet Cafe. It was much harder than I had anticipated. Really, the most difficult part about it was when it got really busy. I went up to St. Andrews on Wednesday to go a conference at which my friend Dave from linguistics was presenting. It was on computational approaches to language acquisition. I just talked to Cyp and apparently he got a letter in the mail yesterday that the Simulating Language exam is going to be indefinitley post-poned due to the teacher's strike. I just got back from Joe's party. I told myself I wasn't going to, but I did anyway. I was so fed-up with writing essays I had to get away. uuuuggggggghhhhhhh.... only 1,670 words into a 5,000 word essay due Tuesday. And I had wanted to try to make it to Joe Eddy's party on Saturday and the Beltane Fire Festival on Sunday. Is it doable.
