With the on-going anxiety about family and finances, and a general feeling that my luck, confidence, and relevance just aren't there any more, I don't expect to be going to any more cons, especially if travel and/or expense are in the mix. Getting some real progress with the Wacom + Manga Studio after all. Still have some stylus lag, but am working around it for now. However, between MS5 and the new Mac OS, the machine is a bit glitchier in general than in the past.

With my updated Mac OS, I'm finding more and more functions that were simple, easy, and/or automatic, now don't work or only do so though pain-in-the-ass processes.

I suspect I still don't have it running in an optimum setting- like it has a serious stylus lag- but I've been able to load files and do layers and then do the marky marks on them. Now I just need to develop a better "inking" technique.

It doesn't work, at least not for me. Took some fumbling to get it set up and even turned on. Then once turned on and after the initial registration, was crashing Select Preference on the Mac and couldn't get the thing calibrated. Okay, turn off-turn on, and Select Preferences worked and Wacom was on the desk top. But then the tablet won't turn on ( Read more... )

Another round of considering a website, might actually do it this time. But need suggestions for something dirt easy for a noob like me to work. Ideally something that can host a gallery, take feedback/messages, and do business out of.

From FB- Death of a thousand cuts. Truck transmission $3K. And only after committing to it does the prospect of dumping the truck and consider something else come to mind.
