I'm a sucker for small animals in distress. So I have a fledgling Stellar's Jay in my kitchen. It isn't dead yet after 48+ hours, so there is the small hope it will actually finish fledging and all and go onward and upward.

I was all hot about how the Transmission shop had been dragging their feet on finally getting my truck fixed. Come to find out that they did, in fact, have it done when they said they did, but I never got the the msg. I hate my 'phone so much all ready, don't have words...

Back, way back, my little Nissan pick up truck gave signs that the transmission was going wonky -4 speed automatic, the 4th being an economy cruise setting, and that 4th gear was not kicking in properly. Took it to the local AAMCO to get it fixed. $3K later it was fixed- except that it really wasn't. So I took it back- January 6th. As of May 16th ( Read more... )

my proper website is up and running, at least a bit. And I'm slowly getting content added. If anyone wants to see- its at http://www.stevegallacci.com just like the real thing. Not much yet, and new content seems to need to parcel out over time, but it is now a thing.

Baby Brother finally arrived from Mexico. Nearly finished another model commission. Truck still isn't fixed. Am in the process of finally getting a proper website and domain name for the interwebs. Will be seeing my new Doctor (old one retired) to get a check-up and take a look at some creeping decrepitude.

No news can be good news, or just no news/progress/change, which can be not so good. I'm still in a sort of limbo- my Baby Brother is still in Mexico wrapping up our Mother's household and such, and he is still undecided as to what and where he'll do next.
