I had a whole afternoon in the house BY MYSELF!

Jonathan took Max to go visit his grandparents in the Bronx, which was great for all parties.  I am getting a cold, and have some actual worky work to do, so I skipped out.  It was so nice to be able to go to the bathroom whenever I wanted, and hang out.  Yay!

I think we may actually get a Christmas tree this year, like tomorrow. A little one, though. Nothing like the day before, no? And then of course we'll take it down in like two days, but Jonathan felt badly not having one, so he gets to go pick it out.

wow, butternut squash soup comes together quickly! I just made some and pureed it in less than half an hour. I guess I figured the squash would take longer to cook? Huh ( Read more... )
