Phones!
I got a fancy new cell phone! I got the Droid phone and it's so shiny and pretty!
I've only really ever had 3 cell phones in the 10 years or so I've had cellphones, so I tend to make huge leaps when I do get new phones. the last leap was to a phone that had a camera and a texting plan (whoa! slow down there!), and this one was to a smartphone and an unlimited data plan.
I was originally thinking, hmm, the iphone's kind of cool, but I hate typing on a touch screen, and I'm in the northeast, and I like to actually have coverage in my house, so I absolutely will not switch from Verizon (when JBB was with At&T he couldn't get any kind of reception inside our house). But the droid has a full slidey keyboard, AND a touch screen, AND a pretty nice user interface AND is Verizon!
And it's shiny!
now I just need to figure out what kind of time sucking apps to buy and load.
