I just watched a movie called The Other Woman (spoilers abound hereafter). Natalie Portman plays a woman whose daughter dies of SIDS days after birth. I had no idea that was part of the story line. I still get annoyed that I'm the one who doesn't get to hang out with friends from high school in the area. It just does not make sense to me. Is it because I'm not in the baby club? Sometimes I see someone gushing about their newborn baby on Facebook and I just want to scream at the top of my lungs. It's not that person's fault. If I were them I would do the same thing. Keep hearing part of this song on TV in a preview for an episode of Parenthood where one of the couples has a baby. I love love love this song, but the combination of it with the visuals of a healthy baby being born tears me up. The grief comes in waves and one is crashing on my shore right now.
