I wish I knew the right words to say to you to convey my grief over your loss that I cannot even fathom.

I wish I knew if me and my Lucas who is about the same age Luke would be make you uncomfortable. I really would love to hang out but would never want to make you sad seeing my son.

I wish I knew what I could do to help. I know you have even more on your plate than your grief. I wish I knew what would help.

I would love to spend time with you and Lucas sometime. I can't say I definitely wouldn't get verklempt, but I'm pretty sure his uber-cuteness would bring me way more joy than anything. :)

Anytime you want to get together I'm all for it. Perhaps in late December when I'm off work for a few weeks if you're not too busy around the holidays...
