Yesterday the babe turned two months old. To celebrate we had a very, very busy day. We took her to the doctor in the morning, and she got her first series of vaccinations, the poor baby. She now weighs 11lbs 5oz, and got a clean bill of health from the doc. Then I loaded some more pictures to our web album, since I figure I should probably do ( Read more... )

While I'm not giving up on the writing thing (I've even signed up for NaNoEdMo because I'm insane) I am also well aware that being a mommy is going to be taking up the lion's share of my time and energy for the foreseeable future.

As more proof that things are getting back to "normal" we've finally uploaded some baby pictures with an actual baby in them. Now I just need to make a new user picture or two since I'm sure my posts will be baby-centric for a time to come.

Stony Raine Lohr III (we'll be calling her Raine) arrived at 7:40pm on the 5th of February. She weighed 7lb 12oz and measured 22 inches. We're all home and doing well. I'm understandably a little behind on LJ and have no idea when I'll get caught up. I'll try to keep some posts coming though.
