So a little while ago I got a message on Twitter from an old boss asking me to contact him about a job. I sent in my latest résumé and had a first interview there on Friday. My wrist's been doing a little better-I'm treating it a little gently still but I can go about half the day without needing to wear the splint. Still looking into getting it looked at.

About three weeks ago I started having pain and aching in my wrist, from flipping a lot of papers at work. After a week on lighter duty and the pain still not abating, I reported it to the temp agency and they set me up with a doctor to examine it. Diagnosis was tendinitis, and a ganglion cyst just on my left wrist. She gave me a splint to ( Read more... )

At work I've been listening, between bits of Pandora, to some audiobook recordings from Librivox. Lately I've been listening to Sylvie and Bruno.
Just a few things that've been bugging me about it:

• None of the readers get Bruno's dialect anything like how I hear it. (I suppose I can't fault anyone for that, really.)
