So at the fireworks last night we thought it was starting to rain, but it turned out to be pieces of ash falling from the explosions that blew nearly above us. A two-inch shred of burst cardboard hit me in the shoulder. And a couple of the streaming waterfall-looking combustions appeared to almost reach back down to the ground where they shot them

Well, no, not good for it, but it might kill some bugs. :-)
