Taken from autumn_whispers: Name the fics that you've written this year, a little bit about them, and what inspired you to write them or why you wrote it. Provide a link if you wish.
Gosh, I scribbled an awful lot this year though. By my count there are like ... 98 fics, some good, some bad, some ugly - but all served a purpose :) Here goes .....
1. Methods of Dealing (G) (Cedric/Hermione, Neville). I hadn't realised that my first fic of the year was a Cedric/Hermione fic. Set during Order of the Phoenix. Probably based on a The Boy Who Died scenario but not necessarily and set before Unexpected Christmas Gifts. I'm not sure what prompted me to write it except that Cedric was still very much on my mind and I was still mostly writing sad canon-Cedric fics because of my state of mind.
2. 3 ficlets: Out Of Her Tree (Cedric/Hermione, Ron) (G). Another sad fic - one of my more popular stories. I really liked these ficlets, probably the second one the most because it was cute and sweet.
3. After The War (PG) (Cedric/Hermione). One of my less popular Cedric/Hermione fics because it slightly bleak and set after the war, but I'd always wanted to write a story set on the Knight Bus and I liked the idea of a quiet and cosy encounter between Cedric and Hermione.
4. HP ficlet for mellowdee: Melody (PG) (Cedric/Hermione). I wrote this little bit of lightness for mellowdee because After The War was so depressing :) Basically it's Cedric learning about Hermione's singing abilities for the first time :)
5. Darkness in the Library (Cedric/Hermione) (PG) Cedric and Hermione are trapped in the Hogwarts library one night - and there's an evil creature there along with them. I am always trying to explore different ways that Cedric and Hermione could have met and this story started out as just a meeting - but it ended up being an action story that I rather liked.
6. Magic Works (Cedric/Hermione) (G). This is a song fic. I know song fics are just ghastly creations that need to be stabbed with a sharp stick, but I wrote this because ever since I heard the song 'Magic Works', even though I know that it's not true - I have always regarded this song as the song of Cedric & Hermione. The story is set during Goblet of Fire. It also tied into the fact that ever since I started liking Cedric/Hermione I wanted to have an encounter between them at the Yule Ball and it took me a while to figure out how to do it. The encounter behind the curtained alcove is totally stolen borrowed from Jo and Laurie's first meeting in Little Women. Totally :D
7. BSG pic fic: Ponytails Series: For the love of Anders (Anders/Kara). *laugh* OK this was a joke fic dedicated to juprujac but she said that she'd probably not read an Anders/Kara fic even though she reads most of my other fics ... ;) I made it part of my Ponytail fic series, being Ponytails, Who took Kara's toy ship? and An ABBA Moment
8. Happy Ever After (Cedric/Hermione) (PG-13). This was a continuation to the not very popular After The War, but I wrote it because as I said, I liked that story and I also wanted to write about Oliver Wood, so I introduced him into the story and it made me giggle.
9. Belated & unauthorised hidden_elysium ficathon entry for sabaceanbabe (Helo/Sharon). sabaceanbabe is one of the first writers I read ever when I first started reading fan fic. One of the earliest stories I read was An Extra Wheel, which is a pre-series fic about Helo/Sharon with Kara in there, too. I had it added to memories but then when I wanted to re-read it, I couldn't find it. That's when I realised that the reason for that was because it was part of a hidden_elysium ficathon entry and filed under that rather than its name. I also realised that even though sabaceanbabe had written her part of the ficathon, she never got a Helo/Sharon story back in return..... Her specifications were:

Even though the ficathon was long over, I decided to write the story for her. I don't think it was one of my best but I wrote it with good intentions ;)
10. Momentary Lunacy (Cedric/Hermione) (G). dbil mentioned that some behind the scenes footage from the Harry Potter Goblet of Fire DVD reminded her of my Robert/Emma RPF An Unlikely Friendship. When I went and watched the clip, I was bowled over by how cute Robert was, all scratched and wounded in Emma's dressing room while they're both being interviewed. Then hazy-crazy posted some icons here so this little scribble popped into my head after I saw the posts by dbil and hazy-crazy. It's also inspired by the moon because I love the moon.
11. Starting again (Helo/Sharon) (G). I wrote this after watching 'Lay Down Your Burdens 2' because that was so sad and we got nothing about Helo/Sharon.
12. Cedric/Hermione ficlet for elven_mysteries: "Chin up, Granger..." (G). elven_mysteries dedicated a Cedric/Hermione user icon to me. The icon post is here. So that prompted me to write this little story because it was sweet of her to 'iconise' the little phrase that I frequently have Cedric say to Hermione :)

18. The Second Time Around (Apollo/Sharon). This was written as a birthday fic for juprujac who is one of the few people who supports me in this crazy pairing of mine that remains my first, irrational fan fic, shippy love :D It's set after Lay Down Your Burdens 2. Apollo comes down to New Caprica to do some fact-finding and encounters a certain someone he used to kind of know. I actually really like this fic because it's not blatantly shippy, but there's 'something' between the two of them.
19. Firefly fic. Possibilities (PG-13) (Mal/River). Ever since I watched Serenity I liked the chemistry between Mal & River. That lingered in my head for ages until I finally wrote this story. I was happy with the way it turned out - light, flirtatious but not too sappy.
20. Cedric/Hermione Fic: minisinoo's Ice & Strawberries Fic Challenge - Ice, Strawberries and Detention. Written in response to minisinoo's challenge here. Set during Goblet of Fire. Yes, yet another way these two could have met.
21. Birthday Fic for darksilvermoon: HP Fic: Promises (G). darksilvermoon requested: Cedric/Hermione, beach, family (children optional :P), and water gun(s).
22. Veronica Mars: Salvation. (Veronica/Logan). I wrote this after overdosing on season 2. I like it because I was feeling sappy :) There's also comment fic.
23. Stargate Atlantis pic fic: Comfort (G) John, Elizabeth, friendship. My first ever attempt at a Stargate Atlantis fic written because I was moved by Elizabeth's sacrifice in episode 115 Before I Sleep and also the love/friendship that John gives her. It's just a tiny scribble and I'm not wild about it, but it was the first fic so it's therefore special :D
24. Stargate Atlantis fic: The Way It's Always Been (John/Elizabeth). This is a longish fic. Approximately 6,053 words and was inspired by the episode Conversion. There were a lot of unresolved moments in that episode for me, so I tried to fix it in this fic. I love John and Elizabeth, they have a quiet 'rightness' about them.
25. Stargate Atlantis fic: Doors (Lorne/Novak) (G) I wrote this after I read my first Lorne/Novak fic and giggled - so wanted to try writing my own.
27. Stargate Atlantis fic: Lunch Buddies (Ronon/Weir) (PG). I started as a John/Elizabeth only shipper but then I really started liking Ronon/Weir a lot. I wrote this story because autumn_whispers wrote a new Lorne/Novak story called Only Just a Little Awkward. In that story, she referred to the fact that Ronon is "merely a few feet away, seemingly engrossed in a conversation with Weir". I started wondering what they might be talking about. :) My fic was set just after episode 216 The Long Goodbye. I liked it because it's sweet, fluffy and romantic - the way Ronon/Weir can be but is seldom written. I find Ronon/Weir stories are usually kinda hot, throbbing and a bit bodice-rippery ;)
28. Stargate Atlantis fic: Shipper Ground Zero (spoof). OK this was me being a total dork but I love this story because I enjoyed writing it so much. It might be my favourite story of mine for the year. It's got everyone in it but there's a definite Ronon/Weir, Lorne/Novak slant. A long time ago, I wrote Being Stupid which was a silly goof around about shippiness in BSG fandom. This is the equivalent story for Stargate Atlantis. This was also the first time that Sheppard/Novak occurred to me - and it all came from the a throwaway line in this fic :)
29. Stargate Atlantis fic: Storytelling (Ronon/Weir). autumn_whispers wrote Unwritten which was an Elizabeth, Ronon, Lorne/Novak story. She wasn't so thrilled with her story but I adored it and re-read it many times. Her summary for the story was: "Elizabeth is injured on an off world mission and Lorne sees something he shouldn't". So then I wrote this story. It takes place after my story Lunch Buddies. I don't like the beginning so much because it's a bit sappy, but I do like the ending because it makes me giggle. I think I should stick to light stories because my more serious stories in this fandom are too sappy.
30. Stargate Atlantis fic: Encounters (John Sheppard / Lindsey Novak) (PG-13 bordering on R). My first insane pairing for this fandom. As mentioned it was triggered by the spoof story Shipper Ground Zero - but I've come to love this pairing.
31. Ronon/Weir ficlet. 15minuteficlets. Everyone's written a Ronon/Weir story in the gym except me.
32. Mal/River ficlet. 15minuteficlets. I had really been wanting to write another Mal/River story after Possibilities but had been too chicken.
33. Lorne/Novak, Ronon/Weir ficlet. I wanted to write something goofy for these two pairings.
34. Little Women/Good Wives, Jo/Laurie ficlet. I hate the ending to Good Wives but have always been too scared to try to rewrite it. I got Dutch Courage from 15minuteficlets. :)
35. Stargate Atlantis, John, Elizabeth, Kavanagh. Gen. ficlet. I never liked the enmity that remained between Elizabeth and Kavanagh - they really wronged him. I was trying to fix it here.
36. Cedric/Hermione fic: Beyond the Veil (G) Cedric/Hermione, Neville. Set during Order of the Phoenix. A blended reimagining of the Department of Mysteries scene. Continues on from The Boy Who Died and is not AU. One day I really want to write the AU version where Cedric goes with them to the Department of Mysteries. It's just too hard though :)
37. Black Magician fic: New Endings. Fic based on The Black Magician Series by Australian author Trudi Canavan. I like this story not because I wrote it well but because I loved the series and hated the ending with a passion. I re-wrote the ending and I have successfully convinced myself that this is how the book ended :)
38. Old Kingdom fic: Word of a Sayre (G) (Nicholas/Lirael). Written for darksilvermoon who wanted a shippy moment for Nick Sayre and Lirael :) I love Garth Nix so was very happy to oblige.
39. 100 word drabble posted to the Drabble Tree at lostcityfound. Ronon/Weir. My first ever drabble ie. 100 words only.
I wrote a few Prison Break, Michael/Sara ficlets that I never posted links to because I felt sheepish about sharing them. They're all unrelated, all were written prior to season 2 even starting and so are totally au. I laugh at how totally I wrong I got the direction of the series. Furthermore, these are unabashedly sappy. Michael/Sara is basically a very romantic story in a very unromantic show. There's death, danger, violence, grossness, rape and torture - and so what I crave the most for these two is quiet tranquillity. What I find most romantic about these two is the thought that one day they'll find a life without all the madness, so that's why my fics for them always focus on the mundane and the quiet.

41. A Glimpse Of A Moment (Michael/Sara). Set at some vague time after the season 1 finale. Just a glimpse into a shared moment.
42. Stargazing. (Michael/Sara)
43. Mundane. (Michael/Sara)
44. Paper Folding. (Michael/Sara). Up to and including the finale "Flight". Post Escape fic for Michael/Sara. Like the other fics, I wrote this before season 2 had even started. I hated the ending to season 1 so wanted a happy possibility for them.
45. Someone to watch over me. (Michael/Sara) Sara gets a stalker, but it's Michael so it's cool :D I liked the idea that Michael couldn't leave when he heard about what happened to Sara.
46. Prison Break: Paper Flowers and Double Standards (PG) (Michael/Sara). The only Prison Break fic I ever posted 'publicly'. It was a tiny tag to the end of the episode 110 Sleight of Hand. Spoilers and dialogue for that episode - I just loved Michael trying to cheer up Sara despite his own less then ideal circumstances. For me it was small things like that rather than The Kiss that convinced me that he really cared about her.
47. Stargate Atlantis fic: Inevitable (Ronon Dex/ Elizabeth Weir) (PG) Longish fic, more than 6,000 words. It covers all of season 2 and it was my take on season 2 while wearing Ronon/Weir glasses. I wanted to write this because I love this pairing and I love all the hidden possibilities the show gives us.
48. Stargate Atlantis, episode 3.04 'Truth' (Ronon/Weir). I wasn't entirely happy with this fic. I liked the idea of Elizabeth offering Ronon comfort after the Sateda episode. Again, it would have ended up being too sappy had it not been for the ending in which Rodney interrupts them. I rely too much on Rodney to save my fics :)
49. Stargate Atlantis fic: Belonging (Gen fic) (G) This was the post-Sateda fic with which I was much happier. Probably because it was a lot lighter and more generic than shippy. I wrote it for the delightful alasse_fae who has a glorious: "want my jello?" Ronon/Weir user icon that makes me giggle. I like it because it's silly and light - I think most of my favourite fics are the lighter ones.
50. Fic tables of 30 prompt words: Old Kingdom fic (Ellimere/Tindall) (PG) More Garth Nix love. My favourite minor character was Francis Tindall so I really wanted to write a story about him. I knew no one else would really be interested in the story but I was really happy to give him his own storyline at last - even if it was just in a silly fan fic. :)
51. Stargate Atlantis: Some nonsense for sg_lab: 'The Morning After (PG-13) Another of my favourite SGA stories because it was silly fluff - written in response to thong/sandal/flip-flop discussions with sg_lab. It's Ronon/Weir with a dash of Sheppard/Novak, Rodney/Teyla :)
52. Stargate Atlantis: Episode 306 The Real World. This was just a tiny episode tag to the end of my thoughts on the episode. John/Elizabeth. It wasn't fabulous but it gave me closure :)
53. Stargate Atlantis ficlet: Paper Aeroplanes (G) (John/Elizabeth). Probably the one John/Elizabeth story I've written that I really like. It's light (like usual) and I like the sweetness between them. It hopped into my head during my 10 minute cab ride to work in the morning.
54. Stargate Atlantis fan fiction: episode 307 - Common Ground tag (Elizabeth Weir et al) (G). Generic fic with a wee bit of John/Elizabeth. I needed closure after this episode given how Elizabeth basically was prepared to 'let' John die. I understood her reasons but I wanted to see the consequences for their relationship and how John would have reacted and how the others reacted to what Elizabeth did.
55. Firefly fic: Five things that River Tam dreams about (Mal/River) (PG) I had been wanting to write another Mal/River fic for ages but hadn't found the inspiration. The five things prompt is really handy and I liked the softness and sweetness between them. These two are breathless and that's how I like to write them.
autumn_whispers is my evil muse and she got me into Thoughtcrimes which is awesome. I immediately fell in love with Brendan/Freya. Unfortunately my Brendan/Freya is kind of crap and autumn_whispers' take on them is fabulous, but nonetheless I still try :P Yeah yeah, shut up Yoda. Sometimes we just try even though we can't do very well :D

57. Five things Brendan Dean doesn't know he's thinking. Brendan/Freya. With this pair, I like the growing friendship and closeness between them.

60. Five reasons Lee Adama hates Sharon Valerii (Apollo/Sharon). Written because I love these two. :) I know I harp on about them all the time but well no one else writes them so I have to, which is why I sound like a one koala cheering squad ;)
61. Strange Cedric/Hermione scribble. I wrote about Cedric as a ghost - no idea why. He just appeared in my head. Yet another 'how did they meet' scenario, except in this one, he's already dead and has no idea why only Hermione can see him.
62. I only ever wrote on Supernatural fic and that was about Deputy Kathleen. That's here. Written because autumn_whispers was writing about Dean/Emily and I was kind of intrigued about other possibilities.
63. Fragment - Stargate Atlantis: Ronon/Weir. Never finished. Alas.
64. This was my first attempt at a crossover fic. :) I picked Thoughtcrimes/Veronica Mars. :) Basically Brendan and Freya show up in Lamb's office and Veronica appears. Followup is here.

67. Cedric/Hermione: Encounter in the kitchen. Set in an au-verse. They've already met before. :) I've always wanted them to meet in the Hogwarts kitchen for some reason. No idea why, I'm a terrible cook so it's not like I love kitchens or anything.
68. Tiny Superman Returns tag for the end of the movie because I felt so bad for Superman. *sigh* I feel like writing him a Mary Sue.

84 and 85. How embarrassing. Prison Break fiction: GTH Fic #1 (Going To Hell Fic aka RPF fic) and GTH Fic #2. I am ashamed, I am going to hell. Written because Wentworth Miller and Sarah Wayne Callies are unbelievably cute when interviewed together. I could not help myself. These are 2 parts in a 3 part series :P I am sad and pathetic.
86. Stargate Atlantis: Teyla/Michael fic for petitevanou in the comments of this post. Written because I adore petitevanou so much :)
87. Stargate Atlantis fic: 3 scribbles for The Return Part 1, John/Elizabeth, Ronon/Weir, Sheppard/Novak. I've counted these as one fic. 3 takes on the one episode depending on your ship ;)

97. Battlestar Galactica: Helo/Sharon scribble for Unfinished Business. Just a scribble that popped into my head. Nothing deep, just a moment that occurred to me. I didn't even like the episode, but I did like the Helo/Sharon moments.
98. The Pretender fiction: Caught (Jarod/Miss Parker) (PG-13). My first ever The Pretender fic because I love this series and I love Jarod/Miss Parker.
I have at least half a dozen other draft/incomplete fics, fics bouncing in my head .....
Things I would loooooooove to read.
I would love to read ............. Thoughtcrimes/Pretender, Thoughtcrimes/Prison Break, Thoughtcrimes/Veronica Mars. I'd love to read Thoughtcrimes/Heroes in which we discover that Freya is a hero as well - what happens when she encounters Matt? I'd love to read more Sheppard/Novak, Apollo/Sharon, Brendan/Freya. I'd like to read a well-written, non-cloying Claire/Peter fic.
I want to read happy, non-angsty Jarod/Miss Parker fic. I'd love to read happy, non-angsty Michael/Sara fic set after things have miraculously been Sorted Out :D I'd love to read more Wentworth / Sarah RPF because it's so bad it's so good :P I'd like to read the scene in which Michael finds out about bathwater, irons and and dives from all windows. I'd love to read a Medium fic in which Detective Scanlon finds someone to love. I'd love to read a Tru Calling crossover fic with any of my favourite fandoms. I'd also like to read Long Fics.

That's when I realised that the reason for that was because it was part of a hidden_elysium ficathon entry and filed under that rather than its name. I also realised that even though sabaceanbabe had written her part of the ficathon, she never got a Helo/Sharon story back in return..... Her specifications were:

Even though the ficathon was long over, I decided to write the story for her. I don't think it was one of my best but I wrote it with good intentions ;)
10. Momentary Lunacy (Cedric/Hermione) (G). dbil mentioned that some behind the scenes footage from the Harry Potter Goblet of Fire DVD reminded her of my Robert/Emma RPF An Unlikely Friendship. When I went and watched the clip, I was bowled over by how cute Robert was, all scratched and wounded in Emma's dressing room while they're both being interviewed. Then hazy-crazy posted some icons here so this little scribble popped into my head after I saw the posts by dbil and hazy-crazy. It's also inspired by the moon because I love the moon.
11. Starting again (Helo/Sharon) (G). I wrote this after watching 'Lay Down Your Burdens 2' because that was so sad and we got nothing about Helo/Sharon.
12. Cedric/Hermione ficlet for elven_mysteries: "Chin up, Granger..." (G). elven_mysteries dedicated a Cedric/Hermione user icon to me. The icon post is here. So that prompted me to write this little story because it was sweet of her to 'iconise' the little phrase that I frequently have Cedric say to Hermione :)
13. Cedric/Hermione: The Unexpected Series.
- A Small Change of Fate. This popped into my head for no reason. Again, it's just another exploration of how Cedric and Hermione could have become friends. Set during Goblet of Fire sometime just after the Yule Ball. A chance encounter can change the future. When I first wrote it, it was intended as a standalone scribble.
- 14. Unexpected. Only written because ginger001 created a beautiful Cedric/Hermione image manipulation and icons that tickled my fancy, so I wrote a continuation to A Small Change of Fate.
- 15. Constant Vigilance. OK I definitely wasn't intending to write anymore about this series but then I found myself staring at a manip by the talented dhfreak
- 16. Outside the Maze. I wrote this as a belated birthday fic for skwidfan who requested Cedric/Hermione. It also was written as part of minisinoo's 'Cedric Outside the Maze' challlenge.
18. The Second Time Around (Apollo/Sharon). This was written as a birthday fic for juprujac who is one of the few people who supports me in this crazy pairing of mine that remains my first, irrational fan fic, shippy love :D It's set after Lay Down Your Burdens 2. Apollo comes down to New Caprica to do some fact-finding and encounters a certain someone he used to kind of know. I actually really like this fic because it's not blatantly shippy, but there's 'something' between the two of them.
19. Firefly fic. Possibilities (PG-13) (Mal/River). Ever since I watched Serenity I liked the chemistry between Mal & River. That lingered in my head for ages until I finally wrote this story. I was happy with the way it turned out - light, flirtatious but not too sappy.
20. Cedric/Hermione Fic: minisinoo's Ice & Strawberries Fic Challenge - Ice, Strawberries and Detention. Written in response to minisinoo's challenge here. Set during Goblet of Fire. Yes, yet another way these two could have met.
21. Birthday Fic for darksilvermoon: HP Fic: Promises (G). darksilvermoon requested: Cedric/Hermione, beach, family (children optional :P), and water gun(s).
22. Veronica Mars: Salvation. (Veronica/Logan). I wrote this after overdosing on season 2. I like it because I was feeling sappy :) There's also comment fic.
23. Stargate Atlantis pic fic: Comfort (G) John, Elizabeth, friendship. My first ever attempt at a Stargate Atlantis fic written because I was moved by Elizabeth's sacrifice in episode 115 Before I Sleep and also the love/friendship that John gives her. It's just a tiny scribble and I'm not wild about it, but it was the first fic so it's therefore special :D
24. Stargate Atlantis fic: The Way It's Always Been (John/Elizabeth). This is a longish fic. Approximately 6,053 words and was inspired by the episode Conversion. There were a lot of unresolved moments in that episode for me, so I tried to fix it in this fic. I love John and Elizabeth, they have a quiet 'rightness' about them.
25. Stargate Atlantis fic: Doors (Lorne/Novak) (G) I wrote this after I read my first Lorne/Novak fic and giggled - so wanted to try writing my own.
27. Stargate Atlantis fic: Lunch Buddies (Ronon/Weir) (PG). I started as a John/Elizabeth only shipper but then I really started liking Ronon/Weir a lot. I wrote this story because autumn_whispers wrote a new Lorne/Novak story called Only Just a Little Awkward. In that story, she referred to the fact that Ronon is "merely a few feet away, seemingly engrossed in a conversation with Weir". I started wondering what they might be talking about. :) My fic was set just after episode 216 The Long Goodbye. I liked it because it's sweet, fluffy and romantic - the way Ronon/Weir can be but is seldom written. I find Ronon/Weir stories are usually kinda hot, throbbing and a bit bodice-rippery ;)
28. Stargate Atlantis fic: Shipper Ground Zero (spoof). OK this was me being a total dork but I love this story because I enjoyed writing it so much. It might be my favourite story of mine for the year. It's got everyone in it but there's a definite Ronon/Weir, Lorne/Novak slant. A long time ago, I wrote Being Stupid which was a silly goof around about shippiness in BSG fandom. This is the equivalent story for Stargate Atlantis. This was also the first time that Sheppard/Novak occurred to me - and it all came from the a throwaway line in this fic :)
29. Stargate Atlantis fic: Storytelling (Ronon/Weir). autumn_whispers wrote Unwritten which was an Elizabeth, Ronon, Lorne/Novak story. She wasn't so thrilled with her story but I adored it and re-read it many times. Her summary for the story was: "Elizabeth is injured on an off world mission and Lorne sees something he shouldn't". So then I wrote this story. It takes place after my story Lunch Buddies. I don't like the beginning so much because it's a bit sappy, but I do like the ending because it makes me giggle. I think I should stick to light stories because my more serious stories in this fandom are too sappy.
30. Stargate Atlantis fic: Encounters (John Sheppard / Lindsey Novak) (PG-13 bordering on R). My first insane pairing for this fandom. As mentioned it was triggered by the spoof story Shipper Ground Zero - but I've come to love this pairing.
31. Ronon/Weir ficlet. 15minuteficlets. Everyone's written a Ronon/Weir story in the gym except me.
32. Mal/River ficlet. 15minuteficlets. I had really been wanting to write another Mal/River story after Possibilities but had been too chicken.

34. Little Women/Good Wives, Jo/Laurie ficlet. I hate the ending to Good Wives but have always been too scared to try to rewrite it. I got Dutch Courage from 15minuteficlets. :)
35. Stargate Atlantis, John, Elizabeth, Kavanagh. Gen. ficlet. I never liked the enmity that remained between Elizabeth and Kavanagh - they really wronged him. I was trying to fix it here.
36. Cedric/Hermione fic: Beyond the Veil (G) Cedric/Hermione, Neville. Set during Order of the Phoenix. A blended reimagining of the Department of Mysteries scene. Continues on from The Boy Who Died and is not AU. One day I really want to write the AU version where Cedric goes with them to the Department of Mysteries. It's just too hard though :)
37. Black Magician fic: New Endings. Fic based on The Black Magician Series by Australian author Trudi Canavan. I like this story not because I wrote it well but because I loved the series and hated the ending with a passion. I re-wrote the ending and I have successfully convinced myself that this is how the book ended :)
38. Old Kingdom fic: Word of a Sayre (G) (Nicholas/Lirael). Written for darksilvermoon who wanted a shippy moment for Nick Sayre and Lirael :) I love Garth Nix so was very happy to oblige.
39. 100 word drabble posted to the Drabble Tree at lostcityfound. Ronon/Weir. My first ever drabble ie. 100 words only.
I wrote a few Prison Break, Michael/Sara ficlets that I never posted links to because I felt sheepish about sharing them. They're all unrelated, all were written prior to season 2 even starting and so are totally au. I laugh at how totally I wrong I got the direction of the series. Furthermore, these are unabashedly sappy. Michael/Sara is basically a very romantic story in a very unromantic show. There's death, danger, violence, grossness, rape and torture - and so what I crave the most for these two is quiet tranquillity. What I find most romantic about these two is the thought that one day they'll find a life without all the madness, so that's why my fics for them always focus on the mundane and the quiet.

45. Someone to watch over me. (Michael/Sara) Sara gets a stalker, but it's Michael so it's cool :D I liked the idea that Michael couldn't leave when he heard about what happened to Sara.
46. Prison Break: Paper Flowers and Double Standards (PG) (Michael/Sara). The only Prison Break fic I ever posted 'publicly'. It was a tiny tag to the end of the episode 110 Sleight of Hand. Spoilers and dialogue for that episode - I just loved Michael trying to cheer up Sara despite his own less then ideal circumstances. For me it was small things like that rather than The Kiss that convinced me that he really cared about her.
47. Stargate Atlantis fic: Inevitable (Ronon Dex/ Elizabeth Weir) (PG) Longish fic, more than 6,000 words. It covers all of season 2 and it was my take on season 2 while wearing Ronon/Weir glasses. I wanted to write this because I love this pairing and I love all the hidden possibilities the show gives us.
48. Stargate Atlantis, episode 3.04 'Truth' (Ronon/Weir). I wasn't entirely happy with this fic. I liked the idea of Elizabeth offering Ronon comfort after the Sateda episode. Again, it would have ended up being too sappy had it not been for the ending in which Rodney interrupts them. I rely too much on Rodney to save my fics :)
49. Stargate Atlantis fic: Belonging (Gen fic) (G) This was the post-Sateda fic with which I was much happier. Probably because it was a lot lighter and more generic than shippy. I wrote it for the delightful alasse_fae who has a glorious: "want my jello?" Ronon/Weir user icon that makes me giggle. I like it because it's silly and light - I think most of my favourite fics are the lighter ones.
50. Fic tables of 30 prompt words: Old Kingdom fic (Ellimere/Tindall) (PG) More Garth Nix love. My favourite minor character was Francis Tindall so I really wanted to write a story about him. I knew no one else would really be interested in the story but I was really happy to give him his own storyline at last - even if it was just in a silly fan fic. :)
51. Stargate Atlantis: Some nonsense for sg_lab: 'The Morning After (PG-13) Another of my favourite SGA stories because it was silly fluff - written in response to thong/sandal/flip-flop discussions with sg_lab. It's Ronon/Weir with a dash of Sheppard/Novak, Rodney/Teyla :)

53. Stargate Atlantis ficlet: Paper Aeroplanes (G) (John/Elizabeth). Probably the one John/Elizabeth story I've written that I really like. It's light (like usual) and I like the sweetness between them. It hopped into my head during my 10 minute cab ride to work in the morning.
54. Stargate Atlantis fan fiction: episode 307 - Common Ground tag (Elizabeth Weir et al) (G). Generic fic with a wee bit of John/Elizabeth. I needed closure after this episode given how Elizabeth basically was prepared to 'let' John die. I understood her reasons but I wanted to see the consequences for their relationship and how John would have reacted and how the others reacted to what Elizabeth did.
55. Firefly fic: Five things that River Tam dreams about (Mal/River) (PG) I had been wanting to write another Mal/River fic for ages but hadn't found the inspiration. The five things prompt is really handy and I liked the softness and sweetness between them. These two are breathless and that's how I like to write them.
autumn_whispers is my evil muse and she got me into Thoughtcrimes which is awesome. I immediately fell in love with Brendan/Freya. Unfortunately my Brendan/Freya is kind of crap and autumn_whispers' take on them is fabulous, but nonetheless I still try :P Yeah yeah, shut up Yoda. Sometimes we just try even though we can't do very well :D
