Well, even though I have had the pictures for a while, I have finally gotten around to posting my knit_olympics project. One WIP for each, then FOs of fronts and backs and then some yarn pictures :-)

It does say "Alitius" where it should say "Altius"... I think it's cute... lol

It's been a couple of days since the knit Olympics have finished and happy to say i finished on time. I knitted a pair of simple socks because i just can't fit anything more complicated 1- in my book bag or 2- into my schedule. I finished mine in plenty of time, startlingly. The biggest challenge with Kiri is the yarn, really. You just can't easily rip Kidsilk Haze. After a false start, I came to a successful conclusion, and rewarded myself with time with my neglected spinning wheel. Good: So I won. Go me. I finished my Clapotis yesterday around 3 and only had the two ends to weave in. I took it to work today so that everyone could pet it and see its lusciousness after hearing me yammer on and on about it.
