It was a very interesting experiment with surprising results.

Terribly exciting!

I’ve experienced such drama, drama, and gut wrenching horror all within the same 45 minutes.

Still I don’t recommend it.

I’m not talking about the movie, which looks hilarious, in spite of the apparent absence of Nick Frost.

Not a lot going on today.

I worked out twice yesterday.  (Just cardio, and legs..  letting everything else recover)

The scale indicated 307, and it balanced!!

I was a little thirsty.  If I can get it to go back as low as 308 tonight, I'll be happy.

Here's a little test I'd like you all to try:
    Have your hubby (or wife or female domestic partner) send you to the store for bread.  Choose whole wheat bread because, you know, it's healthier, right?  Ok now read the ingredients from the bread package.  If the fourth (or even earlier) ingredient is "High Fructose Corn Syrup" (HFCS wikki) then ( Read more... )

Three Hundred and Eleven pounds.

That's the naked, post workout weight i measured at the gym on Saturday.

I just have to lose 50 more pounds of fat and pack on 20 more pounds of lean muscle before I have to put on swimming trunks and be judged this weekend.

(ok, on Sunday I was back to 312, but I've committed to telling everyone that I was 311.)

As I declared on Tuesday, I intended to celebrate "No More Excuses Day"  (I capitalized AND bolded it, so you have to say it in your head at an internal shouting volume)

My friend Joe and I have declared this "No More Excuses Day."

This is the first day that our local palace of sweat and soul saving (the YMCA) is open until 10:00.
