So I mentioned in a previous post my 3 favorite films of 2011 were Hugo, the Artist, and Midnight in Paris.

Classic Film Stuff

With August over so is Summer Under the Stars (one of my favorite months on TCM) but that doesn't mean I don't have a lot left to watch. I only had my DVR for 1 month and it's already close to 50% full with ONLY films from TCM.

I saw Metropolis in the theaters yesterday afternoon. I don't know if it was the big screen, added footage, or new musical score but I had a new appreciation for the film.

Oh god I just saw the trailer for the restored Metropolis and I cannot wait to see this on the big screen. I am trying to get my off the Internet friends to go (one of them who is also on my LJ knows what I am talking about) so hopefully I can convince them. If not I don't care this I will see on my own.
