Is this for real? OMG get this into my life.

Hahahaha, I looked at the scans from the volume because it will be forever until I am able to own it. (Damn you Viz and your stupidly slow release schedule.)

Yes it's for real. It's release date is March 2011 but it isn't up for pre-order anywhere yet. :D

I don't blame you if I had to wait for the English release I would look too but since I know I am getting the Japanese book I figure I might as well wait. And yes Viz is horribly slow, it doesn't even make sense to me because now that the series is finished in Japan it's not like they have to wait for the manga to catch up.

Let me know if you see anything about a pre-order. I have been hoping for a new artbook for months now.

I know it is ridiculous having to wait for a series that you know is over.

When it comes up for Pre-order I will let you know. Although I expect it will be up on Amazon.co.jp first and later at Yes Asia (it will definitely be cheaper on Yes Asia).

Although not good for my wallet it makes me ridiculously happy that things are still being released for the series. There will also be a new guidebook called Fullmetal Alchemist chronicles. Apparently it will have some scenes that didn't make it in the manga. That is early summer 2011.

I was looking at the merchandise for Drrr! and most of it does center on Shizuo/Izaya. It's almost like the other characters don't exist.

The artbook is definitely too expensive. If it was FMA that would be one thing but I guess I don't want to spend that much money on Baccano merchandise. It's more the principal of the thing. I wish Baccano had even half the merchandise as Drrr! because I do think it is the better series.

I actually like everything about Baccano more. Even though I think Drrr! had a better start than Baccano (which did take me a couple episodes to get into) Baccano definitely left me more satisfied overall. In the end I felt I loved almost every character/pairing in Baccano whereas with Drrr! by the end of the series I started to dislike characters I used to like.

Drrr! also has one of my biggest pet peeves in fiction, drama that is forced because the characters just won't talk to each other.

Right now I am just ecstatic with one more FMA artbook, but if there is more I definitely won't complain. XD

I am kind of annoyed that there is so much Durarara! merchandise but barely any merchandise for the similar yet in my opinion superior series Baccano.

THIS. I can see why DRRR!! would have more merch, but it still bothers me so! There was almost NOTHING for Baccano! … what, like… one clear file (and it was of a novel cover of some of the sorta… side characters I guess? It was of the combined image of the covers from The Slash. Weird.) and the artbook? Mehhhh…

I was looking more closely at the Drrr! merchandise and mostly all of it is Shizaya related.

I guess Baccano didn't have an uber popular pairing like that to appeal to fangirls who buy merchandise. It still sucks though because Baccano should totally have more merchandise than it does. With all the characters it seems the ideal series for merchandise too.

And besides what is out there for Baccano is either too expensive or not exactly what I want. I would love figures of the characters but that's probably never going to happen.

I never got too much into Drrr!, so I also sadface at the lack of Baccano merch. :( Baccano boxset is probably my favorite in my collection. WE LOVE YOU BACCANO~~ ♥

SO HAPPY about the new art book! My friend got me the second one for Christmas last year and we were all kind of sitting around and wondering if we'd get a 3. :D

I really liked the first arc of Drrr! but it went down hill for me after that. It was a disappointing series for me overall but I loved Baccano.

I feel like I've been waiting for a 3rd art book forever. There is so much awesome art that they can put in it too. It will probably be a bit pricey but definitely worth it.
