Neo genesis #45 Ruki Personal Interview on [SHIVER] [Translation]

Aug 07, 2010 23:20

Hiho!!

As always: Sorry for the delay.
I was actually not planning on doing this interview in the first place, because I thought someone would do it...maybe someone even did, but I didn't see it until now. Either way...I missed doing Ruki Interviews and I wanted to know what "奈落" is about.
As I believe, Ruki doesn't write about fictional situations ( ( Read more... )

Oh, thanks for this. :) I love that they tried to recreate their old style with SHIVER. People keep going on and on about how the band is selling out with their recent switch to Sony, but this interview just goes to show that these boys do whatever the hell they want. :D

But a girl's got to wonder... What kind of terrible thing happened to Ruki to make him write such angsty lyrics all the time? D:

Thanks again!

I am glad they can do whatever they like!
They have worked hard to make it and as a Visual-kei band, it is a pretty hard stand in Japan. Most people kinda look down on it...so they should do whatever they like :D

With Tokyo Dome, the two opening Budokan performances and "Hesitating Means Death" they are pretty much "IN YOUR FACE!" to everyone who never believed in them... X3 I like that about the.

A...well, I don't think the lyrics for Naraku are very angsty. I think they are more of a very honest statement and (possibly) a self analysis. I think it is closing a chapter and starting over on a personal level....
But that's just my interpretation. ^^;

Thanks for the translation, enjoined very much :D How do you mean they're looked down? They were in good position on Oricon.
And what I see there are more and more new groups in this scene, many people in concerts.I know vk is not mainstream but really a looked down style? I feel sorry for them :(

Thank you so much for this! ^^
Ruki's so deep...

Yes. Even as the lyrics are heavy, they are not unrealistic
^ I love that <3

Oooooooooh thank you sooo much~!!

Hmmmm...I wonder what prompted such lyrics. Someimes, I think about what Ruki's mind would be like.

Shiver gave me a deja-vu type of feeling. I like that Ruki went through with it with a mentality of 'redo-ing the old songs'.

Again, THANK YOU SOOO MUCHH~!!! ♥
