First off, did you respond to my last post? If you haven't, take a moment to do so. I've got over 300 of you reading so I expect a nice healthy number of comments. It won't work unless you all take part.

So yesterday I got an email from Amazon.com talking about their new digital download service. They're sorta rolling along the lines of iTunes ( Read more... )

That was the end of the first episode. The second episode ends with a rather LARGE revelation about Sylar. So no, you don't have the whole thing.

Thanks for that... I just went back to Amazon and bought the season pass for Heroes so now all the eps will just be sent to my Tivo automatically.

I've been bittorrenting all sorts of stuff and putting it on my ps3 to watch. Some of the shows in HD look pretty much perfect (ie Heroes season 2). Can't get any of my laptops to cooperate with the media server functionality though :(

How do you go about getting your torrents on the ps3? I've had very little luck with various media servers so the only option has been burn to disc and then watch (which is a hassle).

I mean, I've had good luck and enjoy using Playon Mediaserver but as far as just getting Torrents to play - not so much.

Are you doing something different to transfer stuff to the ps3? I mean, I tried connecting my portable drive but it doesn't recognize it.

I'm using my old iPod, don't have much use it now that I have an iPhone. The ps3 will automatically recognize the files if you put them in a folder titled "Video" (same with "photo" and "music"). If not in that folder you can force the ps3 to scan the entire contents and it will display all readable video files. It works pretty well, I put them on my iPod and I can watch them on my laptop on the road or on the ps3 when I'm home.

Ah, that must be the key - having it labeled properly in a folder. I'll give it a shot!
