Wow, 11 days since my last entry. I will admit that last week was a bit of a blur. I worked some days from home and when I do that I don't really take any LJ breaks because working from home is sorta its own break by itself. But I think I'm also going through one of those periods where I just don't feel the need to plug in as much as I had been

Yeah I know what you mean about Buffy, I'm also watching season 1 and it is picking up a bit, but season 2 onwards (I've been promised) is where it hits the stride

Thanks buddy. With Buffy I mean, I am digging the show but after 5 eps it feels sorta formulaic. I will say that in the last show they sorta called themselves out (each of them admitting that they were doomed to have bad relationships based on the evidence of the previous shows). I guess I'm just ready for something more interesting to happen than the latest threat to life at Sunnydale High School.

And, great art work! I have an old record of the "soundtrack" to the Haunted Mansion from when I was a kid. I have it framed and drag it out for Halloween each year. The stuff on the disc is incredibly racist though, so I am not sure that I will let Anna listen to it.

Yeah, he was quite a handsome fellow (even though I'm not a fan of long hair on men).

Was the old soundtrack for HM racist? We had a record when I was a kid that had songs from all the rides and I don't remember hearing anything like that.

They have the Chinese water torture segment on the "Spooky Sounds" side, and it's pretty bad with a bunch of ching chow voices, etc.
There was also a part called the darkest jungle, and there were native sounds that were just silly. Racist, probably a little harsh. Culturally insensitive is more like it.
