Has it Been 11 Days?

Wow, 11 days since my last entry. I will admit that last week was a bit of a blur. I worked some days from home and when I do that I don't really take any LJ breaks because working from home is sorta its own break by itself. But I think I'm also going through one of those periods where I just don't feel the need to plug in as much as I had been ( Read more... )

Super. Duper. Fantastic, to finally meet you.

I'm still trying to put the whole weekend into words and it's kind of overwhelming because there was so much frickin awesomeness.

If I ever there is doubt of time spent online, I'll have this past weekend to remind me why it is entirely worth every single scroll, click, and keystroke.

You rock.

Dan says hi.

It was nice to meet you & Dan Sunday evening in the newlywed boys' back garden - please pass on my greetings to Dan - and tell him to get on LJ... :-)

Buffy starts to hit its stride when Principal Snyder shows up, in "The Puppet Show" (which I think is around episode 7 or 8).

Then it REALLY hits its stride with the start of Season 2, and especially a couple of episodes into Season 2 when Spike shows up (in "School Hard").

Keep the faith. You will be richly rewarded.

Thanks for talking me off the ledge a bit. I just watched "The Puppet Show" the other day so if it gets going from here then I'm willing to hang on. Re: Spike - was wondering when he was going to show up.

Same basic idea - Create a character, choose and earn abilities, grind and build and mish and grind and build ( ... )

Wow, thanks so much for the in-depth response.

So I did start a character on COH, but it doesn't allow me to play much, disconnects me from server every 2 minutes and I have to log in again. I am thinking it's because I am on a trial account, but scared to upgrade in case that's not the problem.

And by the way, the customization for characters is freaking awesome, even if a tad bit overwhelming. I could spend all day creating Heroes haha.
