Today has been pretty sweet. I woke up and laid around in bed while Nik watched the parade on TV. Around noon we went over to the orchard for dinner. So much good food. -Anything that is sweet and makes me happy

Tonight will be fun. Nik and I are going to an art auction at the Bemis. It's catered with a full open bar. Open bar, my favorite phrase in the whole world. Bob thinks it will be a good place for Nik to meet collectors, people who will pay money for original artwork. Today has been sweet despite feeling all pukey this morning. Lunch at Valentino's Grand Italian Buffet. I ate so much garlic bready stuff; it ruled. Went to the yuppy mall.
