I also need verification in writing that I have passed my medical requirements. Not just that they have been received, but that the requirements have been satisfied. Until this happens, I can't apply. Also ( Read more... )

Wah. Stupid OHIP. :( Have you contacted your lawyer to find out how to get the paper they want you to have?

Yes, I have. I have no idea how long it will take me to get such paperwork. I'm actually not irritated with OHIP. I'm irritated with the immigration people. They were supposed to send me the correct information and they didn't. They're the bastard fucktards in this scenario.

Way to go for the intermaview! And suxors about the OHIP. They are evil... when I tried to tell them I lived in Quebec AND Ontario (which I do... has noone ever heard of biresidentiality??) they tore up my health card thinking I was perhaps a terrorist. Is it that you moved from somewhere? I know that for getting Quebec med insurance I had to get a letter from ontario certifying I no longer lived there and had OHIP... perhaps this would work but in reverse?

I moved from the States and have been living here in ON for the past four years. I haven't had health insurance since I was at university two years ago. A letter stating that I live in ON wouldn't help, since that's not a guarantee that I won't remain living in ON.
