After getting my open work permit (which does not make me eligible for OHIP because it doesn't state I have to work only in Ontario) and NOT my letter stating I'd passed my medicals back in late May, I asked my lawyer to get me that letter. I have learned that I am not yet eligible for OHIP. I need a letter stating my 'approval in principle', not just those words on my work permit. I also need verification in writing that I have passed my medical requirements. Not just that they have been received, but that the requirements have been satisfied.
