We'll have to work through N's set of dishes when we three move in together before we think about buying another full set. But yeah, durability is definitely something to keep an eye out for when we next purchase plateware. *grins*

I have. Once when I was really pissed off, I went to the dollar store and got ten of them. Then I went to a parking lot and smashed them into bits. I felt *so much better*. (Of course, I also swept up after myself with a broom and dustpan, so as to not cause problems or flat tires for anyone else.)
Thanks for the offer, but seeing as we only have two people living here full time, the number of plates we're left with is perfect. It keeps the amount of dirty dishes down to a very manageable level. :)
