I can't believe I haven't properly complained about finals here yet this semester. I guess I feel they were only an interesting topic to write about once, and most of my readers have finals and know that they entail. I find the following facts telling:
1.) Last month's utility bill was $120
2.) The last few weeks have not been significantly warmer than the previous month. In fact, it's been unseasonably cold.
3.) My roommate has been gone 2 of the last 4 weeks
4.) This month's utility bill is $59

As I type this, I'm watching Empire Strikes Back. The opening Battle of Hoth really bothers me. If the Rebels has a shield "strong enough to repulse any bombardment" and that they had to lower for short periods of time to let their own transports out, how did the Empire land the walkers?
