Ha! Love the fanfic slash bit. Poor McGee is so clueless at times, it's awesome. I love this chapter, and all the other chapters in this series. Your characterization is tops, and this from someone who normally avoids Gibbs/Tony because of the rampant ability to go OOC.

I look forward to more!

Hee! Glad you are reading even if Gibbs/DiNozzo isn't your usual thing. Yeah, there is a lot of OOC out there for them, but there's also some good ones that keep them in character. Characterization is the one thing I always try to do most when writing any of them. (it's why I avoid writing characters like Buffy, Ziva and Willow for the most part actually, because I don't feel like I 'get' them.)

And yeah... McGee can be clueless. It was fun having him angst over his characters being in a relationship. Little does he know!

*snorts* Poor Tim... I hope he manages to contain the 'this can't be happening *again*' response enough that he doesn't have to explain to Gibbs that he isn't freaking out because he has a problem with it! Explaining fanfic to Gibbs? That should be fun!

Ok, I have to ask... what the heck is that thing? Some kind of weird gargoyle?

Hee! Gibbs and fanfic! Oh the horrors! I think McGee will spend the rest of the night trolling the internet for Tibbs/Tommy stories. ;-)

And we never figured out what the heck that thing was. It hung in the archway to the old city and I walked under it all the time. Here's the archway and the 2nd one is the steps to the archway:

Apparently it's a mummified shark that was mistaken for a mermaid in the 13th century and hung up in the gate to protect the town from evil and demons. The actual mummified shark has been moved to a museum to preserve it and has been replaced by a stone replica in the gateway.

I love google!

LOL

Now why didn't I think of that!

Amazing what the internet contains....

That was lovely! I like how Tim and his sister keep each other sane with their parents. My brother and I do the same, so it's awesomeness.

I... honestly, I'm very annoyed at Abby for reading someone else e-mail. It's when things like that happen (in the show and in fanfiction) that make me not like her very much.

I can't wait to see what happens next!

And is that a Goblin Shark?

Thanks for sharing, happy writing, and update soon please!

Tabee :)

Huh... it looks like it could be a relative to the goblin shark. I'm not sure what it actually was supposed to be. I just know it was creepy to walk under.

I didn't put it in there, but Abby wasn't clicking through things to find the email. McGee had left the Reply up on his computer when she came in and he left the room for a minute and Abby had turned to use the computer while he was gone and there it was.... She still read it, but at least she wasn't deliberately looking through his email inbox. :-)

All the characters invade privacy on that show at some point in time or other in regards to the others on the team... It runs rampant among them...

Glad you are enjoying!

ooh... ok, that makes me slightly less irritated! :D

Btw, I keep staring at your header picture thing. Does it change by itself? It's different today. Eh, I'll just keep hitting refresh.

Yay for less irritation!

My header is set up to randomly display a different image from a group of images I have created each time the page loads (sometime you might get a repeat of image back to back, but mostly it changes each time you refresh.)

I currently have seven different banners and I'm working on a few more. :-)

I did a post on how to do it here: http://kaylashay81.livejournal.com/111659.html

I know I've probably seen the ep, but I can't recall it off the top of my head.

I definitely have more planned. And I know how I plan to end it, but I have quite a bit to do before I get there.

HA! LOVE it!!! When I wrote my Gemcity thing for the aborted first round of LFWS, I was *so* going with the slash angle. :-) It's just so *obvious*! :-) Poor McGee. He's so bad at reading people. :-)

LOL

I still need to do my "Tony writes slash fanfiction" fic that I've been pondering for a while.

:-)

Y'know, it could be part of this. A number of letters down the road, Sarah could mention some of the authors she reads (cuz you just *know* she's a slasher) and mentions this one new writer who has the characters down pat.

"You could use these as inspiration, Tim."

Only later he has to write back and tell her he found out who it is. :-) Let's see... what would Tony's penname be? Buckeye69? Not Sex Machine. :-):-)

Hee!

It would fit this series what with the writing theme and all. *ponders*

I have thought a lot about Tony's penname. There's so many possibilities. I do like buckeye69 though.... Hee!

I almost need to do an icon with him in his jacket from whichever ep that was and Buckeye69 on there.... *ponders more*
