Year One:
Meet the Settlers /
Week One /
Week Two /
Week Three /
Week Four Newhaven is slowly evolving from consisting solely of five hastily constructed shacks. The Charles family were the first family to upgrade and their neighbours the Brandons and the Maxwell-Spencer family followed suit quickly after.
The Changs have been the settlement’s most enterprising family setting up two businesses, a shop and restaurant. Off screen is Newhaven’s first city owned community lot, Newhaven Cemetery.
The small property on the left has recently been purchased by a new family, The Sibly brothers, who have decided to make Newhaven their home.
Charles:
Guy is currently a judge and is working towards his life’s goal of becoming mayor. Recently the family was gifted with a magic lamp and chose to use the wealth they wished for to build a house as opposed to putting it towards the town. This raised a few eyebrows, but all in all, Newhaven have been happy with Guy’s leadership.
Despite Guy’s initial expectation that Bronwyn would follow in his footsteps and pursue politics, she has made it clear she wants a career in Oceanography. Guy still holds out hope that his son will want to join him in a political career.
Brandon:
Luke and Gwen are the proud parents of two very outgoing boys, Castor and Pollux. Gwen stays at home to take care of their sons after school, while Luke works towards improving their experience at school. As the College Dean of Students, he is one step away from achieving his life’s dream of becoming the minister of education.
Baruch:
After the flu epidemic, Nicholas took it upon himself to take care of the medical needs of the town, and has high hopes his son will also take up a position in which he too helps the community. If he had thought to actually ask his son, he would be shocked to discover that Aaron actually dreams of becoming a game designer.
Chang:
Xun, his wife Gretchen, and his newborn son have moved back in with his brother’s family after the tragic loss of Jin’s wife Lillian and their youngest daughter Jiayi.
Before the family’s unexpected loss, Jin and Lillian had begun building a restaurant so that their eldest daughter Lin could realise her dream of becoming a celebrity chef. Chang’s Chinese Cafe is now open, while her younger sister Mei is preparing to take over management of Chang’s Collectables once she finishes school.
Maxwell-Spencer:
Kendal and Clyde find themselves very busying keeping up with their very active and outgoing daughter Coco. The couple feel blessed to have their best friends and Coco’s “uncles” on hand to help out with their little girl.
Dion and Leo have both achieved their lifetime want of becoming game designers, and whilst still working, enjoy having extra time to spend with little Coco who they adore.
Sibly:
Brother’s Lucas and Maurice have just arrived in Newhaven, after their search for a house with a basement in an isolated area lead them to purchase Xun and Gretchen’s house. In a place with such a small population, Lucas hopes Maurice will have no choice but to curb his new ravenous appetite for blood.
