The Jones Beach John Mayer show was SO awesome last night!11!!!!1!
There were so many awesome things that I can't even make full sentences out of them, hence a list:

--"a douchebag." No really, he said this himself on stage, mockingly. Hil-larious.

--totally guilty of make all those ridiculous O-faces that Jezebel always talks

Yeah, swans. Not like, included in his rider swans, but swans that live in whatever body of water surrounds the Nikon Theatre at Jones Beach. They were sweet. Most. Romantic. Wildlife. Evar. I shoulda gone to that concert with a boy!

Ah, but going with a gay boy would defeat the purpose of taking advantage of those romantic swans and sappy love songs, no?

I saw John Mayer at Jones Beach a whole 5 years ago (yeesh), though I have to admit I was going more for the Counting Crows half of the bill.

He was better than I expected, but he was definitely not doing standup. He would mumble the name of a song and then go on long guitar riffs, standing alone in the middle of the stage. His awkwardness was almost endearing. And that was back when Jennifer Love Hewitt was the extent of his questionable hookups. (Who knew, five years on, that she'd look like his dating high point?)
