Imogene as a bad guy would have been oddly epic. She really did seem more amused with future!Adam than concerned by his grandiose and alarming ideas

I'm not sure it's even Druitt-hate, just less love than I've felt for him in previous seasons. The show's vision of him seems to have been slowly shifting. All through season 1 and most of 2 and 3, he was clearly this guy you describe, where Magnus was his source of stability, sanity, and peace. But the more we've seen of him recently, the more I come to realize that his 'love' for Magnus is more of an unrealistic, delusional, psychosis-fueled pipe dream that has less to do with the person Magnus is and more to do with the person he thinks she SHOULD be ( ... )

i love that ep. the whole "this is what Will would be like without Magnus to keep him in line" thing probably effected me more strongly than the whole "yeah, Magnus, if you don't slow down and think, you'll cause the end of the world" one ;p I always knew I was right to RP the man as mildly unhinged ;D

i don't even see Druitt as a monster, just as a little too self-absorbed and unthinking for his own good. i like my psychopaths brooding and introspective, not irrationally fixated, i guess, lol

glad you like the icon. i made it as soon as i saw the scene (that was the ep iTunes accidentally posted two weeks early) and then had to sit on it until the ep actually aired. but it was too epic NOT to use :D
