The only good thing about long bouts with insomnia is having more free time in the dead of night to vid and fic. But, last night, as I was vidding, I realized something. Will needs more love than he gets in the fandom, so I did a totally Will-centric vid for a change, set to "Everyday People" by Sly and the Family Stone. I may need to do more vids to old songs as they never do seem to get blocked :D

I had to do this after "The Depths". I understand where Magnus is coming from, but I also sympathize with Will's feelings of being kept out of the loop and held at arm's length by a woman who promised in episode 2 to always be truthful to him and who said in season 2 that he was her emotional compass. i LOVED tonight's ep, but damn did it have me wanting to cry more than once. many overdue conversations and confrontations, but dear lord, the ENDING *sobs* still, given what comes next, this is clearly exactly what Chessmaster Magnus intended and continues to intend, but man do the writers know how to twist the knife for those of us invested in ( Read more... ) -
