Today the weather finally allowed for a walk. It was cold and a bit windier than I like, but the walk was good for all of us. Ishka doubly enjoyed it because her latest BFF escaped home and joined us for most of the walk, so there was loads of running around, barking, racing, and sniffing. The landscape looked different, too. ( This is getting way too long to make do without a cut )

The yarn looks lovely. I've always had a thing for phoenix colors :)

Pretty pics :)

Thank you! For me, red is very much an acquired taste. I didn't appreciate it for years until I realised my friend loves red in various shades. And I've never looked back, lol! It's a fascinating range of hues.

I love taking restful companionable walks and dreams in your pictures, Karelia. :) (And the yarn is lovely and glowy, for all its color won't photograph properly - not everything can be captured in image...)

The countryside here is peaceful, and on lucky days we get to see the deer that made their home in this little corner of the world.

(Thank you; you're right - not everything...)

What a lovely place! And I like the look of that yarn - very warm and fiery.

Thank you! I'm so relieved that back pain is gone, I have no words!

We seem to have slipped from torrential rain (with enough flooding to not only disrupt but outright stop all trains for two days) to outright winter in two days... This afternoon, most puddles were still iced over from the night frost that wasn't even forecast... Never a dull moment, lol. <3
