It's gone cold. It may have been hovering just above freezing and the weather forecasters are clearly in denial because there is no way it was "around freezing" last night when in the afternoon all the puddles from the recent torrential rains are still frozen solid.( Of walking in the cold and such )

Today the weather finally allowed for a walk. It was cold and a bit windier than I like, but the walk was good for all of us. Ishka doubly enjoyed it because her latest BFF escaped home and joined us for most of the walk, so there was loads of running around, barking, racing, and sniffing. The landscape looked different, too. ( This is getting way too long to make do without a cut )

I took the bus to town today and purchased me these Wellies. It may sound a bit over the top, since I ordered a pretty pair that hasn't arrived yet, but given my lifestyle and the weather situation, I decided that it isn't a 'women can never have too many shoes' matter but rather justified if not a necessity.
