I finished the back of Dennis' sweater this morning on the train ride into work. Didn't take all that long. 2 weeks. If it takes another 2 weeks to do the front, and another two weeks for the sleeves, then I *should* be able to finish it by the Anni party ( Read more... )

It's frustrating not being able to write about projects that I'm making for people because it would ruin the surprise. =p

I managed to finish the afghan I was making for my mother.Over the long weekend, I traced out and cut the pattern for Dennis' costume on some sturdier paper. I was going to cut the fabric, but Dad came over, and we sorta BS'ed for awhile. I'm almost done with my mom's blanket. The main body of the blanket is finished, I just need to add in the 4 rounds of edging. I made it much longer than the pattern called for: an entire skein's worth longer. Oddly, I never got bored with the pattern ( Read more... )

I finished the second half of my mom's purse last night. I need to knit up the flap, and then assemble it all, and it shall be done! \o/ I haven't decided if I'm going to sew it together with yarn and a yarn needle, or use thread and run it through my sewing machine.
