Just might make it!
I finished the second half of my mom's purse last night. I need to knit up the flap, and then assemble it all, and it shall be done! \o/ I haven't decided if I'm going to sew it together with yarn and a yarn needle, or use thread and run it through my sewing machine. Perhaps I will have to do a swatch (it's a purse, size isn't that important, so no, I didn't swatch before starting) and see how it works with the sewing machine.
I was really worried; I really thought it would take far longer to get done. I am quite pleasantly surprised. This means I will have time to get the blanket done before Christmas, as it only needs a border, and then I can make that doggie blanket for my mom's friend.

I also mentioned wanting to make some soap sachets to get rid of some of my cotton yarn.
I got a preview email of this month's issue of Interweave Crochet. I must have it. I want to make Dennis, and possibly my Dad a sweater.
I'd better get to work, or none of this is going to get done!
