[There are no words in Four’s vocabulary that could describe it... The tiny stitchpunk could not move. It is a dream, it has to be a dream. Beauty like this does not exist in his world. He blinks several times, just to be sure, but the world he saw stays there. He trembles as he slowly stands up, and promptly sits back down again as he tries to

[He tilts his head and pokes at the screen, eyeing a little thing. Not that he hasn't seen some sort of tiny magical creatures before, but this is definitely new. But it should understand humanspeak in this place, right? Hrm, it's worth a try.]
...what are you?
Reply
Oh wait, that came from the strange device. It must be like a radio or something. A very, very small radio.
He cautiously looks at the screen and blinks.
...
That's...
A human.
A living human.
He stares at Kanda with a totally shocked expression as he tries to comprehend this incredible find.]

[Kanda looks just as surprised - well, maybe a little less since his expressions have more of that stoic taste to them - and stares right back at the stitchpunk, blinking a couple of times and frowning a little. He's quite sure there's nothing on his face, so... huh?]
What.
[Pause.]
Why are you looking like that.
Reply
Unfortunately, their species is kind of extinct from Four's point of view.
Four tilts his head left and right as he continues to inspect Kanda's face. He does wish that he was closer so that he could examine everything personally. There is no simple way for him to answer that particular question, so he merely blinks at him.]

[This is a little unexpected but not entirely unfamiliar. After all, he knows a certain creepy doll with an own voice - even if he suspects it might be all the doing of its owner. Anyway. Have a human with gold-coloured eyes peer curiously at you out of the screen.]
Eh? C-could you be a relative of Emily's?
Reply
Who is Emily?
Four shakes his head at the question. He doesn't know anyone by that name. Bu maybe he should ask a question now! The little stitchpunk points at Gilbert with an extremely puzzled expression.
Who are you?
Twinspeak is useless here, but it makes him feel better.]
Reply
Ah, sorry. I just thought you look a little alike.
[He blinks, a little questioningly, as he's pointed at. Oh, the little guy probably asks him who he is, huh? Well that's only fair.]
Huh, me? I'm Gilbert.
[Pause.]
I've... been in this world for a while now.
[The little doll doesn't seem capable of speech, but he'll try anyway. And try to give an encouraging smile while at it.]
Do you have a name?
Reply
Oh yes, his name. Four smiles and taps the 4 on his chest with his little metal finger. He then gestures at the tree behind him.
What is that?]

Is this another one of Clow's creations? But he's not in his own world now, either. So that doesn't make the most sense, not really.
Still, it has to have been made by someone! And what's it... doing here, all by itself? Does it have magic? Can it protect itself? Will it get eaten by something big and scary if it even manages to make it out of the Himorogi?
And how long a journey would that be, for something so tiny? The tree behind the creature gives enough of a perspective that he's pretty sure it's not anywhere near human sized!
What if something kills it before it even has time to properly orient in the world?
Not that he cares about things like that, of course.]
... are you okay?
Reply
He tilts his head and watches the new human on his little communication device with an avid interest. Are you going to do anything interesting? At the question, he nods. Then he shakes his head...then he nods again.
Eventually he shrugs. He has no idea.]

[It can't talk? He thinks maybe it can't talk. That's a bit of a problem.]
Has anyone said they're coming to get you?
[That's a more useful question, maybe.]
Reply
He reaches over and taps the screen. Who are you?]

[What fortune to have this little thing come through! Mayuri adds this little man onto his list of things that need to be studied.]
Reply
Maybe he is just jumping to conclusions, he should give this person a chance.]
Reply
[True, he'd lose that information. On the other hand, this place had that annoying habit of broadcasting dreams. He quite looks forward to this one's dreams.
He'll give this one sometime here before he dissects him.]
Reply
Perhaps he should introduce himself?
Four pulls the Hitomi device far enough away for it to see the 4 carefully dyed onto his chest. He taps it and gives the human a curious look.
What's your name?
Not that the human can hear him, but it's a comfort thing.]
Reply
But this is a curious thing, so he kind of... needs to check.]
..are you seriously a living doll?
Reply
And you are a living human!
It has been

One of those.
[Perhaps he shouldn't be so excitable with the keyboard.]
Reply
[That sounds so... ominous.]

We remember them because we can't forget.
I thought they were all gone. But there are so many here.
Did you hide from the gas?
