Week 31 Day 2 [Video/Action]

[There are no words in Four’s vocabulary that could describe it... The tiny stitchpunk could not move. It is a dream, it has to be a dream. Beauty like this does not exist in his world. He blinks several times, just to be sure, but the world he saw stays there. He trembles as he slowly stands up, and promptly sits back down again as he tries to take everything in at once.

The sky is so far away, and is so....bright. Four has never seen so much blue in his life. It stretched from one horizon to the other, and is dotted with little white....erm... clouds. Yes, that’s what they were. They are so much prettier than the heavy yellow smog Four is used to. There seems to be as much green as there is blue! In fact, there seems to be more of it, so many different shades of green everywhere. Not just green, but so many other colors too! Reds, yellows, purples... all of it bathed in a golden sunlight.

Still shaking, Four reaches down and gently touches a blade of grass. Grass is alive isn’t it? Right, it’s a plant, so of course it’s alive. It is a nice thing to behold, but most of it grew right up to his shoulders, and it makes moving around a little difficult. He finally stands up again and glances around. Three has to be around here somewhere, the tall grass probably hid him, or he is playing a prank on Four. A little annoyed that his brother would play a prank on him at a time like this, Four weaves through the grass listening for any telltale signs of his twin. He does not hear or sense him anywhere, and it worries him greatly. Even if this is a dream, there is no reason why Three shouldn’t be here, it isn’t uncommon for them to share dreams after all.

Perhaps if he wanders over to that tree, he could-

That’s a tree.

Four stops what he’s doing to gawk at the massive tree. For some reason, he thought it was a building. But no, it is a tree! He blinks and weaves his way towards it. He taps the bark cautiously as he reaches it and immediately leans in to catalogue the bark into his memory. The texture and color of the bark fascinates him completely, since the only trees he has ever seen are grey and lifeless. His initial examination is interrupted by a large spider, which had scuttled across the section of the bark he is examining. Four gently scoops it up and spends a few minutes examining the spider down to the last millimetre.

Right, he is looking for his brother. Four sheepishly lets the spider go and climbs up the root and perches on top of it. This world seems so large and bright that he isn’t sure what to do with it. Three would know, and Four intended to talk with him about it once they meet up again.

Huh, that’s interesting. Four suddenly notices a strange little device on his wrist. How could he have missed that before? He holds it up and examines it carefully. How odd, it seems to be a little piece of technology made to fit his size. He taps the screen cautiously and grins with delight when he sees it move. He pokes it again and accidentally activates the Hitomi’s video function. A small, curious face blinks out at everyone as he decides to see what all the other buttons do.]
