I like cables, but I can't remember more than 1 thing I've ever knitted with bobbles - which was more than 20 years ago, so I don't remember if I didn't like them.

It's more that I'm not a bobble person. I don't think I'd choose to knit anything for me with bobbles on, but the cardigan for Gorgeous Goddaughter was pretty cute (and small).
