Sometimes it's really weird being home, in the sense that not much ever really changes. I feel like the older I get the more impatient I grow with people who are consumed with petty things. I used to think this was a good quality, having patience and all, more than most people would, but frankly what is patience worth if nothing changes.

I love how everything falls perfectly into place, just in time to leave.

There were people acting like this, for real.

I don't know what got into my system today but all of my, "homework," didn't feel like work anymore. I had to write a 24 bar piece in classical/baroque style and I don't know where it came from but it just flew out of my fingers. Sometimes I honestly don't know what it is that makes people smile a little bit easier and laugh a little bit louder during Christmas. It's not like people these days walk around and think about how it is almost Jesus’ birthday and that alone can put a smile on their faces.
