I feel like the older I get the more impatient I grow with people who are consumed with petty things. I used to think this was a good quality, having patience and all, more than most people would, but frankly what is patience worth if nothing changes.

i had to read through this twice, because i was so confused. i first read "the more impatient i grow with people who are consumed with pRetty things"

and i got a little sad because, well, what's wrong with liking pretty things?

and then i read it again.
and i agree.
love

patience.

n pay-shuntz: (1)a personality trait one tries to embody until they realize that it's not worth waiting around for others to move on from their meaningless hang-ups. (2) used when dealing with mongoloids or very small children. ex: "justyne lost her patience when her roommate, ____, bought too much pink shit and trashed the apartment," or "justyne's patience went out the window when that bitch with the kate spade purse and prada sunglasses complained about her coffee and then neglected to leave a tip."

straight from the dictionary of jessy.
i can give you more definitions if you need them.
