It seemed...
Really, I dropped a class and had an abundance of time and making another film seemed like a brilliant idea. Then... Now i'm struggling to keep my head above water between four classes, my film, my one-act, and my life. Ack. Also starting Crime and Punishment for philosophy soon. Blah. -
Briefly
Singularity is wrapped and in the bag. DVDs are circulating (Ailsa, i'm getting you one as soon as I can) and it went over pretty well. Although it may be ill-advised at this point in the semester, i'm currently in pre-production on another one. It's slightly shorter and utterly different: a murder story. I've been back to school for precisely three-and-a-half days now. I've attended each of my classes once and have successfully changed sections of creative writing to better accommodate my work schedule. So, back to school as of today. Interim was nice, had a good time creating theatre, but it's back to the grind now. I had a theology class this morning (I need the credit) and a phy-ed just now. So it's pretty official now, Peter Jackson is writing, producing, and overseeing The Hobbit film (or rather, films, for the studio is planning two, which either means the story in two pieces, which is good, or The Hobbit and then another story that Tolkien never wrote, which is abominable). Rambo review
From the very first musical strains Rambo is hearkening back to First Blood, the original film in the series whose title character has since become a household name. It's really real
I received my passport in the mail yesterday, which cements it for me, drives home the point: I truly am going abroad this fall. Come late August, passport in hand, i'll board a plane and many hours later arrive in merry old England for my semester at The University of East Anglia, where I will study film and creative writing. I know, I know, it's been ages since i've posted, but life's been busy, more than usual. It's interim here at school, and for the J-term i'm assistant directing the theatre show.
