It's really real
I received my passport in the mail yesterday, which cements it for me, drives home the point: I truly am going abroad this fall. Come late August, passport in hand, i'll board a plane and many hours later arrive in merry old England for my semester at The University of East Anglia, where I will study film and creative writing. The closer it gets the more real it seems. I've been planning this trip for years, but until about a month ago it was no more than a vague idea somewhere in the future. It's become a reality, a reality that's less than a year away, and I cannot wait.
