Maybe, I should do a food log too. It would confront me with my eating habits (which are bad).

Yeah, this is different than Weight Watchers where I counted points and planned ahead what I was going to eat to make sure I stayed within my allotted amount of points.

With this, I simply write down everything I eat and she said to write down everything including condiments and seasonings and even things like gum and hard candy because they contain calories.

Basically I write the date at the top and she has me fill in:

Time
Food, Beverage, Condiment
Amount Eaten (cup, tsp, Tbsp, oz, etc)
Brand Name/How prepared
Home/Out

I think the amount eaten is a problem here. And cookies. Henk buys them a lot and sometimes I just can't resist.

Well, I think a bit part of it is not denying yourself. Just control your portions.

Aw hon!! So sorry you were sick!! *huggles*

I've kept a food log/calorie count since I was about 16 or 17. Mostly because I'm neurotic :(

Keep going, girl!! You can do it!! *gets out cheerleading pompons*

Anyone who knows me, knows I look at people like Gollum, "Not it's business!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Musn't ask us! :)

I'm glad you got the email from Rachelle so that first dietician visit wasn't as unexpected as we thought. I hope this Friday goes well! I would like to see this help you find an easier solution for eating better so my bestie is taken care of. :)

*hugs

hahaha well you know it's true. I don't like people listening in on my conversations. They are between me and the person I am having them with. Granted in that small room, it can't be helped, but I will just have to try not to blush incessantly while chatting. *sigh

The problems of the socially awkward and anxious. LOL Be glad that you were never cursed with this affliction.

haha. I definitely am... although I have to say you've come a long way baby. :) You're much less socially awkward and anxious than you used to be and definitely not as shy. ;)

And God, your icon is pretty. I'd like to have that please.

Please to be having it!! *hands it to you

And thank you about the progress kudos! I've been trying. I still have it...and get mad at myself for blushing sometimes, especially when people point it out, but I do find myself rambling on to people I don't know more often lately.

Maybe I am just at an age where "who the fuck cares?" HAHAHA

I'm feeling much better, thank you!

I will definitely keep you posted!! Since I'm supposed to speak with a "real" dietician, I am a bit more hopeful than I was after my last visit. : )
