The tax program choked and died on me on install; had to clean everything out and reinstall.  Had to also dig up our old tax files for the program, so that it could pull forward old information for multi-year stuff affecting our taxes, and those had gotten stuck away somewhere and were more of a bear to find than I figured.

I’m reviewing a friend’s ( Read more... )

In the past, we've thought it was a good place, and were dismayed by this turn of events.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to You All... anonymous March 17 2009, 17:46:37 UTC
Happy St. Paddy's Day to you Jim. Poor Connie! I hope she feels better now...ugh.
It dies take a bit to recover froma nasrt bug so I hope Susan wis well on her way to feeling like herself.
I would love to hear you read The Hobbit. What fun and sweet memories for Mere.

Bill, Grace and I saw Coraline. Fabulous animation. A wow. Grace actually got scared tho'. She is better than she ised to be but did spend parts of the movie with eyes peeking from behind fingers and her head on my shoulder.

I took away that we, as parents, need to spend more time *listening* to what our kids have to say. Grace took away that kids should trust their folks more and realize how good they have it.

Both are good things to remember I guess!: )

Don't let anyu leprechauns pinch you today! Our wee leprechaun went to school so decked out in green that it would shame a true Irishman. Our Chinese leprechaun. The kid LOVES this day!

Love,
Sue and family

That's a good question - I was asleep when Mere went off to school this morning, so I have no idea as to what's going on with her clothes today. I told her that I was going to wear a green sweater that she likes...

Mere's bouncy enough to be a Chinese leprechaun; I'll have to see what happened!

I do 'voices' and accents very well, and dramatic readings and all that. So my readings tend to go over better. (Susan has a soft falsetto voice that might remind one of Mickey Mouse, and not much of a natural dramatic talent. Mere, on the other hand, takes off after Daddy - she is *good* with accents and can do a pitch-perfect Educated British Girl accent, as per Hermione Granger, say. She also watches a lot of British and Australian TV and reads a lot of UK ENglish books.)
