Things are going good. Calmed down just a bit, now that classes are going again... This semester is going to be one trying fucker... Grote is an excellent teacher, but he can be just a little bland... And then there's Chris Black for Special Pops.... That'll be tough. Anyway, things are well... Toodles.

Working at Station 8 today doing another 16 hour clinical rotation... It's been a good day. Only 6 calls so far though, which blows slightly, but maybe it'll pick up in a bit... It's been a good learning experience so far. Had a scare today, thought I'd lost my cell phone, but it really got lost in one of the easy chairs in the station... Got very ( Read more... )

So wow... Here it is folks, my quarterly update... I've been working my ass off lately. Between work and school and clinicals, I'm never home... It sucks really. Clinicals have been good though, I've done 5 endotracheal intubations since the start of the summer. Also 31 successful IV sticks... Doing well there. So wow... I finally got married. It was an amazing wedding, though it went by so fast. I really wanted to invite more people to be there, and I'm sort of sad that I didn't, cause a lot of people who said they were going to be there, didn't show up. I'm finally done with clinicals. So glad to be done with that... Not much else is going on right now... Just kinda relaxing and studying for my classes. We've been making IV sticks on each other, which is always fun... Claire and I are getting better... She understands my point about her school thing a little more which is always good... You know, it's sometimes really difficult to think about being accepting of Claire's desire to go back to Philly for school, while I'm here... I know it's what she really wants, but I also don't understand how it is necesarry to do it that way. She's got it in her head that "normal" is starting in the fall and only taking 4 years to complete at 1 ( Read more... )
